Sheila Suzanne Anita Dyer

Sheila Suzanne Anita Dyer is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-C) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered mental health care. With a background in nursing and advanced training in psychiatric mental health, she provides comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management for individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns.

Sheila Suzanne Anita Dyer earned a Post-Master's Degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing from Maryville University. In addition, she earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner from La Salle University. She is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and maintains professional licensure as an advanced practice registered nurse.

Throughout Sheila's career, Sheila has gained experience working with individuals across outpatient, community, primary care, and telepsychiatry settings. Her areas of clinical interest include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, substance use disorders, women's mental health, etc..

Sheila Suzanne Anita Dyer believes that effective mental health care begins with listening, building trust, and understanding each person's unique experiences and goals. She takes a holistic approach that considers biological, psychological, social, and environmental factors when developing individualized treatment plans. Depending on each patient's needs, treatment may include medication management, psychotherapy, education, lifestyle interventions, and coordination with other healthcare professionals.
